Internet Address Detectors (IAD) for URL Manager Pro

Please read Apple's documentation about Apple Data Detectors first.

With Internet Address Detectors for URL Manager Pro you will have two more menu items in the contextual menu. One menu command enables you to store a detected Web Page as a bookmark in URL Manager Pro. The other menu command enables you to store a detected e-mail address as a bookmark in URL Manager Pro.

You can use the Internet Address Detectors with URL Manager Pro 1.4 and higher.

Please download (15K) the Internet Address Detectors 1.1 from our FTP Server.

You might also want to download the Apple Data Detectors extension.

Install

You can only use Internet Address Detectors (IAD) for URL Manager Pro when you have Mac OS 8 or higher and the Apple Data Detectors extension installed.

Supplied are action files for HTTP, FTP and E-Mail URLs.

To install IAD for URL Manager Pro:

• Choose Control Panels from the Apple menu, then choose Apple Data Detectors from the submenu.
• Open the File menu and choose Install Action File.
• In the dialog box that appears, locate the file (action) "Bookmark HTTP in URL Manager" and click OK.
• Repeat the above steps for "Add address to URL Manager" and "Bookmark FTP in URL Manager".
